APC knows that when you hire a subcontractor to work on your facility site, his safety record is now part of your Safety record. And while we take great pride in the safety record we’ve maintained over the years, we feel the numbers aren’t what matters — it’s that our workers went home safe after every day on the job.

In order to accomplish this, we take Safety very seriously, and demand the same from every worker that walks in our door or reports to your jobsite.

We start at the business level with a commitment to a proper Safety Program. We employ a full-time Safety Manager to keep us focused and knowledgeable. Our Safety Manager is OSHA Level 30 Trainer certified, so he can train our Project Managers and jobsite leaders to Level 30 Certification as well. Subordinate employees are trained and certified to OSHA Level 10 standards. Mandatory safety meetings are held monthly.

On the jobsite, project leaders conduct toobox meetings to reinforce good Safety practices as well as discuss conditions and issues of the project that might cause difficulties. By calling early attention to potential problems, our workers are prepared to handle your project the way it should be.

We only hire Union trained and certified painters with good work history. Each one is fully trained with the equipment he’ll use on a project, the proper procedures for working with specific materials, and how to work in the environment we’ve contracted with you.
